Makinna Stewart Bs
Behavior Data Specialist
Makinna Stewart is originally from Mobile, Alabama, and earned her B.S. in Biomedical Sciences from Auburn University, with a minor in Health and Human Development. During her undergraduate training, she worked as a research assistant in the Neurobehavioral Dynamics Lab at Auburn University’s ABA clinic, where she gained hands-on experience supporting behavioral research and developed a strong interest in applied behavior analysis.
At Yellowhammer Behavioral Consulting, Makinna serves as a Behavior Data Specialist supporting behavioral assessments, intervention planning, and skill acquisition programs for children and adolescents. She is currently working toward obtaining her Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification while continuing to build clinical skills in data collection, behavior intervention support, and program implementation.
Makinna is especially passionate about early intervention and communication training and enjoys helping young learners develop skills that can make a meaningful difference in their everyday lives. Her long-term goal is to pursue a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Outside of work, Makinna enjoys going on walks (and the occasional run) and spending time with her family.
